Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How often should I change my furnace filter?

A: To change a furnace filter is perhaps the quickest and easiest way to maximize the efficiency of your heating system—and to help purify your home’s air.

Typically you should change a basic, fiberglass or paper furnace filter every one to two months. And you should change or clean an electrostatic or HEPA filter every two to four months if…

– you have one or more furry pets
– you notice excessive to moderate dust buildup in your house
– one or more people in your home smoke
– your heating system fan runs most of the time
– you open your doors and windows frequently
– if you notice dust or dirt buildup on your current filter

Q: Do you have a furnace or boiler?

A: Boilers heat water that circulates through the home and gives off heat … known as forced hot water heating. Furnaces heat air that is distributed throughout the house … called a forced hot air heating system.

Q: What kind of turn around do you offer with your services?

A: We offer a fast turnaround. Often times, we can have your job done within a day or two, depending on how fast the supplier can get us the materials.

Q: Do you offer a warranty policy?

A: Yes. All of our services are warranted by 30 days and our installations are warranted up to 1 year. Our services are (of course) not refundable due to the fact that the service has been rendered.
